Mike Tyson Reveals Suicidal Thoughts When Drinking: “I Don’t Wanna Be Around No More”

After revealing that he's a "vicious" alcoholic who'd been lying about his sobriety, Mike Tyson opened up about his struggles on the "Today Show" on Wednesday (August 28).

Speaking to Matt Lauer, the former heavyweight champ admitted, "When I start drinking and I relapse, I think of dying...and I don't wanna be around no more."

After explaining how difficult his 12 days of sobriety have been, the 47-year-old promoter said, "I won't survive if I don't get help."

When asked how long he'd been dealing with the dark thoughts in his head, the boxer replied, "I was born that way." Check out the interview in the video below.
