It’s the 50th anniversary of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and LeAnn Rimes gave a thrilling performance during the national celebration yesterday (August 28).

The “How Do I Live” songstress took to the stage at Washington’s National Mall and belted out “Amazing Grace” while thousands of spectators looked on.

Prior to the gig, Rimes tweeted, “Do not know how I’m going to make it through singing Amazing Grace tmrw w/o crying. I’m truly honored & humbled to be a part of tmrw’s event.”

Additionally, LeAnn was also celebrating her birthday- “So many great things happened on Aug 28th. 1. Martin Luther King’s I have a dream speech 2. My bday lol 3. Honey Boo Boo was born LOVE IT.”
