She may have given birth three times before, but nothing could prepare Katie Price for the scary situation with her fourth child Jett Riviera.

Last week, the British beauty gave birth eight weeks early via an emergency operation in a foreign hospital.

Reportedly dealing with a dangerous infection that could harm her unborn child and Jett's dropping heart rate, the 35-year-old star was forced into early labor.

In an interview with the Mirror, Katie explained that the nurses refused to let her husband Kieran Hayler into the room, saying that afterwards, "I was in a state. He's never seen me like that before. He must have thought his wife had turned into a lunatic... I was sobbing, 'I love you, I love you'. It felt so unfair because Kieran and I didn't get that moment couples should share. But more importantly I didn't even know what my baby weighed or if he was OK. "

Dealing with a serious language barrier, she added, "I was petrified but not one of the nurses came to hold my hand."

Though baby Jett is "doing well," he could stay at the hospital for up to three weeks while Ms. Price sticks around in a nearby villa. Grateful for her fans, Katie tweeted on Sunday, "Finally in a state to tweet thank you for everyone's amazing support and messages! I love @kieran0322 and our amazing baby boy jett. #jett."
