He’s about to become a father thanks to an affair with his friend Andrew Silverman’s wife Lauren, and Simon Cowell received some well wishes from two ladies from his past.

“American Idol” alum Jennifer Hudson credits Cowell for jump-starting her career, and she’s thrilled that her mentor will be a dad soon.

Hudson shared, “Congratulations to Simon—I'm sure he's going to be an amazing father. Go easy, don't treat him like the American Idol kids. Be nice to him OK, Simon? Jeez!"

Jennifer continued, "Imagine him as a dad? Dahling, what are you crying for? I mean, what's that gonna be like? 'This baby doesn't have the It factor, the X Factor!’”

Meanwhile, ex-girlfriend Carmen Electra gushed, "I'm so happy for him! What I witnessed working with him on Britain's Got Talent and coming to see him during X Factor is that the people he truly believes in, he stands up for them and supports them. So I obviously think that his child will be very well taken care and very, very loved. I'm going to call him as soon as I get in the car after the event. I want to know if it's a boy or a girl. It's awesome, I'm super happy for him."
