Getting in some important father-daughter bonding, Hailee Steinfeld went to the movies with her dad Peter in Hollywood last night (July 31).

The “True Grit” gal gave shutterbugs a big smile as she strolled out of the ArcLight Cinemas and scurried back to the car, sporting a black jacket, black trousers, white screenprinted shirt, and black studded boots.

Hailee recently proclaimed that she has a penchant for style and hopes to continue to evolve her own personal tastes as she’s exposed to more designers.

"Yes[I'm interested in fashion] I have also learnt that the world of fashion isn't simply about wearing a nice dress. There's so much more to it. Behind an amazing dress or pair of shoes there is so much work that goes into it."
