With a few months before pre-production begins, Marvel may have a set back on one of its roles for the upcoming film "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

According to Bleeding Cool, the original Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch pick, Saoirse Ronan, passed on the role despite being Joss Whedon's top pick.

Fortunately, the entertainment company and Mr. Whedon may drawn their attention towards Elizabeth Olsen for the role as the mutant villain.

Miss Olden has a list of action films to her credit including "Oldboy" and the upcoming "Godzilla" reboot in May 2014.

While casting is still in the works for the anticipated film, "Kick-Ass" actor Aaron-Taylor Johnson is in talks to become Scarlet Witch's brother, Quicksilver.

Although there is no confirmation from the production team, Mr. Taylor-Johnson has spoken about the role, leading the fans to believe that he will sign on.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" stars key favorites from "The Avengers" including Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. And Chris Evens. The film is slated to hit theaters May 1, 2015.
