Chris Brown Sings Hits, Avoids Questions on “Today”

He’s never been a fan of doing interviews, so it’s no wonder Chris Brown was a bit apprehensive during his chat on the “Today” show this morning (August 30).

The “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer was in fine form as he sang “Fine China” and “Love More” for the packed crowd, but when it came time for questions, Brown wasn’t having it.

Anchor Tamron Hall asked Chris, “You had a seizure, but you’re not missing a beat today. How are you feeling?” to which he briefly replied, “I’m good. Just needed some rest. That’s it.”

Meanwhile, Matt Lauer mentioned that Brown previously talked about “turning to the positive,” however his recent social media messages “have been on the negative.” In response, Chris mumbled, “Uh, that’s not my music.”

Lauer pressed the issue- “What? That’s not the music. You’re struggling with two different worlds?” From there, Chris switched the topic and mentioned his “fans.”

Hall fired back, "You're lovin' your fans? I've heard you're leaving the business... Is that rumor or fact?" Brown answered, "It's about the music right now. I'll continue to work for my fans."
