After a wild season on “The Bachelorette,” a final rose was handed out on Monday night (August 5) by Desiree Hartsock.

Though the brunette beauty was in tears over the departure of frontrunner Brooks Forester after he admitted he was not in love with her, she managed to regroup and find true love with Chris Siegfried.

After getting permission from Ms. Hartsock’s father to ask for her hand in marriage, the excited bachelor got down on one knee and proposed with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane ring.

“I want to be your first, and I want to be your last. Will you marry me?” he asked, to which she replied, “Yes. A thousand times yes.”
