She took a pretty bad spill while filming a music video on Monday (July 8), but Nick Cannon says his wife, Mariah Carey, was a "trooper" through the whole thing.

During an appearance on the "Today" show this morning (July 9), the 32-year-old explained, "She's such a trooper," adding, "She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side."

Letting her fans know she's on the mend, Carey tweeted a photo of herself from inside the hospital with a caption reading, "Dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!"

Although the Grammy-award winning songstress didn't make a fuss about the fall, Nick says, "It was pretty serious. Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and … she chipped her shoulder bone."
