It is by far one of the most-talked about and highly-anticipated events since they tied the knot, and any day now Kate Middleton and Prince William will welcome their first bundle of joy to the world!

Of course, no royal event can go unnoticed and that's especially true for the birth of their first child. Loads of shutterbugs and reporters are already setting up shop near the steps of St. Mary's Hospital in London as time winds down.

"It's crazy," says one staffer who spoke with People magazine and witnessed the media lining up as early as two weeks ago. "But it's fun coming to work and having a look and seeing everyone pose for pictures – they are a very popular couple, so it's exciting for everyone!"

On top of the media frenzy, there are also ten guards who are patrolling the area day and night as well as a "Specialist Search Team" from the Metropolitan Police who are keeping a close eye on the private Lindo Wing where Kate is staying.
