After visiting their daughter in the Lindo Wing, Carole and Michael Middleton gave the press a highly-anticipated update on the future Kind of England.

On Tuesday (July 23) around 5 p.m. local time, Kate Middleton's mother told reporters that the Prince of Cambridge is “absolutely beautiful!”

Carole added that the royal baby is “doing really well” and that holding him was “amazing.”

As for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the first-time parents are doing “fabulously.”

"We are so thrilled," she added.

There are still no updates on when Kate and Will are expected to exit St. Mary’s hospital in London or the baby’s name.
