Gearing up for a long work week, Justin Theroux reported for duty on the set of “The Leftovers” in New York City this morning (July 8).

The “Wanderlust” hunk donned a fire department lieutenant’s uniform and strolled around the outdoor location after previously arriving on a flight from Los Angeles.

Apparently a dispute over their chosen home base has thrown a wrench in Justin’s wedding plans with his fiancé Jennifer Aniston.

An insider told press, “Justin has really tried to like living in Los Angeles, but he just doesn’t. It’s not his vibe, he loves the energy and grittiness of New York City. He actually jokingly complains about the weather in LA, he doesn’t think it’s natural for it to be sunny year round, and misses having actually seasons.”

“Jen is firmly planted in LA, and doesn’t like New York City. She bought several apartments in NYC, hoping to make it home for the couple, but in the end, her heart just wasn’t in it.”
