He’s been gearing up for a big Australian tour, but sadly Frank Ocean won’t be performing the rest of his dates in the Land Down Under.

The “Thinkin Bout You” crooner tore a vocal cord during last night’s kickoff show, and he’s been ordered to abstain from singing until it’s healed.

A statement from Live Nation declared, “After last night’s concert… it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show.”

“It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice.”
