Taking care of some media duties, Cate Blanchett showed up at ABC Studios in Times Square, NYC on Tuesday morning (July 23).

Sporting a gorgeous green dress, the “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” actress chatted about her new film “Blue Jasmine” on “Good Morning America.

Cate described her character as a bit of a wackjob- “She’s damaged goods. She’s a broken woman who’s intensely deluded and has such a romanticized sense of herself.”

Blanchett also gushed about getting the offer for the film, noting, “Like so many actors, when you hear that Woody Allen is interested in working with you, you take that call.”

And as for the name of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s newborn prince, Cate speculated, “I don’t know. Boys are hard- Steve? Ezekiel? Craig? Prince Craig? Prince Steve?!”
