During promotions for her new flick, Angelina Jolie attended a press event at United Nations University in Tokyo on Monday (July 29).

Discussing her film “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” the 38-year-old actress director looked lovely in a simple black frock with nude pumps.

Miss Jolie touched on the important message behind the movie, chatting about the Group of Eight leaders who agreed to work to end rape and sexual violence in conflict.

“This is just a beginning," Angelina said. "Our aim must be to shatter impunity, so that rape can no longer be used as a weapon of war anywhere in the world as it was in Bosnia, and as it is today from Congo to Syria."
