Bradley Cooper Attends the White House’s National Conference on Mental Health

Having portrayed someone with a mental health issue on screen, Bradley Cooper showed his support at the White House's National Conference on Mental Health on Monday (June 3).

In "Silver Linings Playbook," the 38-year-old actor played a man with Bipolar disorder, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.

Making the trip to D.C., Bradley heard President Obama discuss mental health care plans for American veterans.

At the event, Vice President joked about his granddaughter giving him the business when they stayed at the same hotel as Mr. Cooper in Brazil and he didn't take her to meet him.

To laughter, Joe shared, "Well, Bradley, somehow, we're going to have to make up for this. You owe me! My standing with my granddaughter has plummeted."
