Following up his cult classic “Machete,” Robert Rodriguez has just released the trailer for his forthcoming flick “Machete Kills,” and it’s quite the sight to behold.

Slated to hit theaters on September 13th, the upcoming film stars Danny Trejo in the lead role of ex-Federale agent Machete.

Also on the stellar cast are folks like Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, and Mel Gibson.

Per the synopsis, “The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.”
