Ready to join her fellow celebs for a star-studded evening, Nicki Minaj was in attendance at the 2013 Costume Institute Gala on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

Showing off her elegant side in a blue Tommy Hilfiger gown, the “American Idol” judge still managed to give a nod to her wildness with the frock’s open back.

Every year, the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art puts together a killer collection of amazing goodies complete with a star-studded party to kick things off.

And this time around the theme is “PUNK: Chaos to Couture,” an examination of punk’s impact on high fashion from the 1970s up to the collections found on today’s runways the world over.
