He’s an avid fan of art and music, so it’s no wonder Jared Leto was on the scene when the Coachella Festival kicked off this weekend.

The “Kings and Queens” rocker hung out with some friends and chilled in sweats and a tank top yesterday afternoon (April 14) in between musical performances.

In a recent interview, Leto confessed that he sent a copy of the forthcoming 30 Seconds To Mars album into outer space.

"When I first came up with the idea, 'okay, that's impossible, never going to happen.’ At another time I wouldn't have even bothered to ask. But guess what? I asked. I asked NASA. They went up in space.''
