Heidi Klum Talks Drowning Rescue on “Ellen”

She’s always up to something fun, and Heidi Klum showed up at “The Ellen DeGeneres” show for an interview today (April 12).

The German supermodel received a fun 40th birthday hat (she turns 40 on June 1) and chatted about her recent trip to Hawaii where her son Henry almost drowned.

Klum began, “Henry is a really good swimmer. He remembers his swimming teacher. And he taught all of my four children how to swim — even the little one [Lou]. She is 3 1/2. If she goes in the pool, she knows what to do. She swims to the side and climbs out."

She continued, "He always told me when you're in the water, you have to be really calm and you can't stress out, and that's what I did."

As for her upcoming birthday plans, Heidi noted, "My friend Nancy is actually doing a hat party for me, which I thought was really cute, everyone has to show up in a hat. So it's all girlfriends of mine, and everyone has to wear a crazy hat."
