Geri Halliwell to Judge “Australia’s Got Talent” After Mel B Loses Court Battle

Ready for her next big gig, Geri Halliwell signed on to be a judge on “Australia’s Got Talent” on Monday (April 29).

Also known as Ginger Spice during her “Spice Girls” days, the 40-year-old pop star will be replacing her former band mate Melanie Brown, who lost a court case over the show.

Excited to get going Down Under, the red head spoke about what kind of judge she will be, saying, “I think it's unnecessary to be mean for the sake of being mean, but I do believe you have to be truthful, but with love.”

On the advice she got from Mel B, she added, “She actually said, 'I just want you to know I think you should do it cause you're gonna have a great time'."
