Fans tuning in to Sunday Night Football will no longer be serenaded by Faith Hill's rendition of "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," as the songstress has given up the gig after six years.

The "Mississippi Girl" singer announced via Twitter on Monday (April 13) that she will not be coming back when the broadcasts return with the NFL in the fall.

“Amazing 2 have been part of SNF – an honor. I’ve just let everyone there know it’s time 2 let someone else rock the open," she tweeted.

Hill added, “Difficult decision. Kinda emotional. Love all u guys at SNF – I’ll b watching!!!”
