Celebrities love charitable causes, and yesterday afternoon (March 10) some of Tinseltown’s finest showed up at the John Varvatos 10th Annual Stuart House shindig in Los Angeles.

Naomi Watts and her husband Liev Schreiber looked to be having a marvelous time as they mingled with the likes of Nina Dobrev, Steven Tyler, and Joe Perry at the Chrysler-and-Hasbro-sponsored benefit.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner enjoyed their VIP status (Affleck was an honorary co-chair of the soiree) while talking about life after the Oscars.

The “Argo” hunk told press, “I've been able to really just enjoy my good fortune in the last couple of weeks and sit back and kind of just take it in and not do anything, just eat ice cream on the couch.”

Ben also credits Garner for telling him about the Stuart House organization. “That really stuck with me and I wanted to support it. Particularly, because these kind of causes are thought of largely as women's issues. And violence, sexual or otherwise, against our fellow human beings is a crime against all of us.”
