Based on a story by Edgar Allen Poe, Kate Beckinsale just signed onto the upcoming film "Eliza Graves."

The thriller follows a doctor who takes a job at a mental institution and falls for another doctor there. However, chaos ensues when the facility becomes overrun by its patients.

Inspired by the Poe tale, "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether," the movie will be directed by Brad Anderson.
