Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, Kate Beckinsale soaked up the sun while enjoying a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Friday (March 29).

The "Total Recall" actress showed off her flawless bikini body in a black two piece as she happily lounged around poolside with family and friends.

Although she's getting in some relaxation now, it looks like Miss Beckinsale might be getting back to work soon as she is slated to star in a new psychological thriller.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 39 year-old star is in negotiations to take part in Brad Anderson's upcoming flick "Eliza Graves."

The thriller, which is set to hit theaters in 2014, is officially described as follows: "A recent medical school grad who takes a position at a mental institution soon finds himself taken with one of his colleagues -- though he has no initial idea of a recent, horrifying staffing change."
