Heath Ledger’s Family Releases T-Shirt for Charity

It has been five years since Heath Ledger's untimely death, and now his family has put a t-shirt with the late actor’s image on sale for charity.

The tee, which features a photo of the “Dark Knight” actor taken by photographer Ben Watts in 2004, shows the Oscar winner holding a skateboard in Los Angeles.

Recalling the shoot, the photographer commented, "Heath loved skateboarding and wanted to do a shoot he enjoyed.”

This is the first piece of merchandise that Ledger’s family and his estate has approved for sale, and will be available for $110 online for a limited time.

All proceeds from the sale will go to a scholarship fund set up in Heath’s name and to his favorite charitable organizations.
