The "Monster's Ball" star looked cute in a brown sweater, ripped blue jeans, and black buckled boots while her 4-year-old daughter sulked in a leopard-print dress and black leggings with a pink headband.

While premiering her new movie, "The Call," on Tuesday night, the 46-year-old actress was asked by USA TODAY about her red carpet outfit and whether her little girl had any input.

Proud of her honeybee, Halle said, "She actually picked this tonight - true story. I showed her two outfits. I said, 'Honey, which one should I wear?' and I wore the one she chose."
