Stepping out in the brisk Big Apple air, Eva Mendes stopped at " The Late Show with David Letterman" on Tuesday (March 19).

The "Training Day" star donned a long-sleeved animal print dress with knee-high brown heeled boots as she politely posed for photos outside the Ed Sullivan Theater.

During their chat, the 39-year-old actress will promote her new movie, "The Place Beyond the Pines," with real-life boyfriend Ryan Gosling.

However, close to her heart is another venture, as she's currently working on a clothing line with New York & Company. In an interview with the Associated Press, Eva explained, "I'm working on it right now for the fall line and working with vintage-inspired prints and cuts but not making it retro in any way. I come from a family where the women are more voluptuous so I like to cater to that."
