Box Office: “Oz: The Great and Powerful” Still Holding Strong

Still going strong after a record-breaking opening, "Oz:The Great and Powerful" looks to be headed toward another weekend at the top for March 15-17, 2013.

Disney's tale of the man who would become the Wizard took in $11.4 million on Friday, and is on track to rack up $42 million when all is said and done on Sunday.

Sliding into the second spot was the new Halle Berry thriller, "The Call," with a $6.2 million freshman Friday and an expected total take of $16.7 million.

Rounding out the top five in earmarked earnings are the Steve Carell-fronted comedy "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" ($11.1 million) in third, the fantasy flick "Jack the Giant Slayer" ($6.8 million) in fourth, and Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman's "Identity Thief" ($4.8 million) in fifth.
