Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Alexis Bledel, as she recently accepted a marriage proposal from boyfriend Vincent Kartheiser.

The “Gilmore Girls” starlet is said to be showing off her “huge engagement ring” to all of her family and friends and is excited to get hitched.

Bledel’s rep told press, "They couldn't be happier... Vincent proposed a few weeks ago. She's been wearing her ring. It's huge!"
And apparently Vincent is thinking about whisking Alexis off to a destination wedding. “He was saying they might elope and do parties in New York, L.A. and her hometown, Houston,” said a snitch.

Kartheiser (who met Alexis on the set of his show “Mad Men”) says he’s ready for the relationship, despite the difficulty usually experienced by Tinseltown twosomes. “The most important thing for us is to make sure that we see each other in the flesh at least every 10 days. I’m a really lucky guy!”
