Some serious drama in the Knowles family. Supposedly, Beyonce refuses to acknowledge the existence of her baby brother Nixon — the product of an 18-month affair between Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles and a woman named Alexandra Wright.

The affair and Baby Nixon’s subsequent birth broke up Mathew’s 31-year marriage to Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles. They both filed for divorce in 2011.

According to Star Magazine, Beyonce is still not happy about her dad’s affair, and she reportedly refuses to meet her half brother, who just celebrated his third birthday earlier this month. The tabloid notes that Mathew’s relationship with his own son isn’t that much better either.

“We had an 18 month relationship. We were in love and even lived together,” Wright tells Star. “But four months into my pregnancy, he decided he couldn’t do it — and since our son’s birth, he has tried to deny Nixon full child support. This isn’t about the money. It’s about accountability, education and providing Nixon a secure life.”

Even though Mathew Knowles doesn’t acknowledge his own son, a Los Angeles judge ordered the music executive to pay at least $8,200 in child support in 2010. A few months later a paternity test confirmed that he was the father.

Knowles is credited for starting Beyonce’s career, and for creating Destiny’s Child, one of the biggest girl groups of all time.

It’s a shame little Nixon won’t get to meet not only his own father, but also his sisters Beyonce and Solange, his brother-in-law Jay-Z, his cousin Juelz or his niece Blue Ivy anytime soon … or maybe ever.
