Though rumors of his sexuality have run rampant, James Franco recently revealed that those allegations began a long time ago.

In an interview with MTV news, the "127 Hours" star shared, "In high school these girls got mad at me and so they spread this rumor that I was having a gay relationship with one of my closest friends. And they even made up a little dance they would do in the girl’s locker room about me being gay. I still don’t know what the dance was.”

Those questions have popped back up again with the 34-year-old actor's entrance into the Sundance Film Festival. "Interior Leather Bar" features a "re-imagining" of an explicit scene said to have been cut from the 1980 movie, "Cruising."

Shrugging off the suggestion, James says, "It wasn’t something that frightened me, like if people think that, it’s fine. I really don’t care." Check out the entire interview with Mr. Franco below.
