He shot to fame as one of the colorful characters on E! reality television show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” but it turns out Scott Disick's greatest quality is his compassion for others.
Kourtney Kardashian's suave-dressing babydaddy showed up at a Monclova Township home outside of Toledo, Ohio to grant Josie Langsdorf a visit and help her cross off an item from her bucket list.
Ms. Langsdorf has two daughters and is struggling with terminal cancer, but Mr. Disick’s company was enough to help her forget her woes for a few hours earlier this month.
Josie’s daughter Ashley Langsdorf was responsible for taking her mother’s wish and running with it. "I started the process by sending him a tweet. After that I just started encouraging all my friends to keep re-tweeting and eventually it got everywhere with the help of athletes, musicians and even actors like Josh Duhamel."
"I got a huge response on Twitter! I never in a million years expected success like we got and it warmed my heart to see so many people care about someone that some didn't even know,” she added.
As for why she chose Scott as her bucket list beau, Josie explained, “Reality TV, it’s kind of an outlet, takes your mind of your everyday problems… Daughters and I watched reality TV shows and I just think he’s entertaining. He says things that are off the cuff and think it’s kind of funny.”
Ashley was instantly impressed with Disick when he showed up on her doorstep to meet her mom. "Meeting Scott was surreal. Surprisingly it felt like he fit right in, he was so down to earth and normal. Meeting him was just amazing.”
She also mentioned that the experience has given her hope that anything is possible. "My advice to people with big dreams is to just follow your gut! I never thought Scott would see my tweets or any of the people who were helping me but I still did it and look what happened, he came! Don't ever give up and don't ever stop living because even when you feel down in the dumps or sad there is always a positive in everything you do!!!”
Meanwhile, Josie is still knocking out the remaining items on her list as she continues battling her illness. She says, “It gives me something to look forward to."
