ABC has cancelled its comedy "Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23," per a network announcement released on Tuesday (January 22).

The series starring Krysten Ritter and James Van Der Beek has already been pulled from the air, with this week's time slot filled by "The Taste."

Both stars tweeted their sadness regarding the show's early demise, with Van Der Beek saying, “Sad to say ABC has pulled #Apt23 and will not be airing the 8 remaining episodes any time soon. Translation: we’ve basically been cancelled.”

Ms. Ritter joined in with her reaction to the news, sharing, “My beloved fans, sad to confirm that it is true. Don’t Trust the B—#apt23 has been cancelled. thank you so much for your support i love u.”
