Ben Affleck Talks Being A Leading Man on “The Tonight Show”

After a monumental start to awards season, Ben Affleck enjoyed a fun night out as he made a stop by "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Friday (January 11).

The 40 year-old Hollywood hunk looked dapper in a perfectly fitted black suit as he sat down to talk about all things entertainment.

After earning seven Critic's Choice nominations this year for his film "Argo," Ben dished to Leno about being told he wasn't leading man material.

"I tested for a show on a network called NBC, it was called "Against the Grain," and one of the guys who was running the network at the time was dead opposed to me, the creators really wanted me for the show," Affleck said, adding, " Later on the guys was like 'look I like the kid, I think he's fine, but he will never be on the cover of a magazine.'"
