Set to honor the best in television and movies from the past year, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California is abuzz as red carpet arrivals for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards are almost underway.

With the live televised event to be aired on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. ET, the ceremony is presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association while being co-hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

As for the nominees, front-runners like "Les Miserables" and "Silver Linings Playbook" will compete in the musical/comedy categories while "Lincoln" and "Zero Dark Thirty" jostle for top honors in the drama field.
