Gathering the final thirteen contestants from this season, “The X-Factor” paid tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook school massacre on Wednesday (December 19) to kick off the show's season finale.

The final three contestants, Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, and Fifth Harmony were joined by those already voted out for a special performance of Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone.”

Judge Simon Cowell began by speaking about the tragedy before the singers took the stage.
